Cemeteries and thoughts on mortality. Sat an old family cemetery. There was an ancient, massive maple tree. That sat slightly left of center of the four main graves. On hot summer days like today, I loved to go there and sit and dream under the shade of the maple. So began my lifelong love of cemeteries. Some made me cry, like the dozen.
